OpenAI @ DU: Real Uses, Real Conversations

OpenAI @ DU: Real Uses, Real Conversations

Held at the Daniels College of Business, the event drew students from across campus for an evening on how people are actually using AI in their work and studies. The conversation stayed practical: where these tools help, where they fall short, and what employers are beginning to expect of graduates entering the workforce.

Brother Isaac Nee, our Professional Development chair, is one of 50 students nationwide accepted into the OpenAI student cohort. He was the representative who delivered the lecture on OpenAI’s behalf, and he brought in Sigma Chi to help host and promote the event.

Programming like this is central to what we ask of our undergraduates. Brothers left with a clearer sense of how AI is reshaping the fields they are heading into, and with the reminder that the chapter is a platform for building those opportunities rather than waiting for them.

Our thanks to the Daniels College of Business for hosting, and to Isaac for opening the opportunity to the wider DU community.
